Chromatically coded measurement system

Chromatical Aberration: The sensor head emits white light from a halogen or xenon light bulb (which is built-in
in the control unit) onto the surface to be measured. The light reflected into the sensor head is analized by
means of a spectrum analyzer. The focus of the light beam can be found at the wave length with the highest
intensity and from that the height and profile information will be derivated.

*The max. measurement rate of 1kHz or 4kHz depends on the control unit to be used and the light source (halogen or xenon lamp).

For mobile applications a system is available which can be placed very fast and easy on various surfaces. It can be
equipped with the 300µm or 600µm sensor head and offers displacements of 50x50mm or 100x100mm.
